Dr. Michael Jacobs, DMD
Dr. Michael Jacobs was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. He graduated from the University of Arizona with a Major in Psychology and a minor in Biochemistry. Dr. Jacobs then went on to pursue his Doctorate in Dental Medicine from Nova Southeastern University in 2005. He has over 13 years of experience in general dentistry in South Florida, certified in Invisalign Orthodontics and is an active member of the Miami Dental Society. Enthusiastic about his profession, Dr. Jacobs takes pride in getting to know each and every one of his patients and making them feel comfortable with all facets of dentistry. Each patient receives his undivided attention and care; which is of utmost importance to Dr. Jacobs. He is married to his beautiful wife, Sabina, with two children: Jordyn and Dylan, 8 and 3. Also an avid sports enthusiast and participant, he spends his spare time running the Adult Softball League and enjoying pick-up hockey.
Dr. Matthew K. Rand, DMD, MD
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon
Dr. Matthew Rand graduated summa cum laude from Tufts University Dental School and completed a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Research Fellowship at the National Institutes of Health. He went on to obtain an MD from the University of Michigan and completed his training there in general surgery, adult and pediatric anesthesia, and oral and maxillofacial surgery. Dr. Rand practices a wide scope of pediatric and adult oral surgery including dentoalveolar surgery, bone and soft tissue grafting, cosmetics, facial trauma repair, dental implant surgery and surgical exposure of teeth. He is a long time resident of the Sunshine State and lives with his beautiful wife and three children in Miami.
Dr. Julia E
Dr. Julia E grew up in Ottawa, Canada, where she was born and raised. She graduated with high distinction from Carleton University, completing an Honors degree in Integrated Science. There, she was passionately involved in fundraising for the Canadian Cancer Society. Dr. E went on to complete her DMD and Invisalign certification at the Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine, where she was a member of the Psi Omega Dental Fraternity and the American Student Dental Association. She was also an avid participant in intramural volleyball and soccer. Dr. Julia E greatly values building trust-filled interpersonal and professional relationships with her patients while providing quality dentistry. She is an active member of the American Dental Association and Florida Dental Association.
Dr. Donald Fox
Dr. Donald Fox was born in Richmond, Virginia. It was in fourth grade, while at a picnic with Dr. William Crockett that he decided to become a doctor. Dr. Fox entered dental school, achieved numerous awards and graduated #1 out of a class of 115. Dr. Fox has a Master of Science degree in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics (Braces at age 7 complex cases). Dr. Fox is able to stop thumb sucking in children and adults within one week without the use of any appliances in the mouth. More than a hundred children have been stopped by him with ninety-five percent kicking their habit the first night. In his spare time, Dr. Fox goes to NASCAR races, football, basketball and baseball games. He has even donated tickets on the finish line of races to Hendricks Motorsports that in turn were given to children with Leukemia and other health problems so that may enjoy the races. Many times he gave his personal seats to these children.
Dr. Lauren Mitchell
Dr. Lauren Mitchell received her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from Northwestern University in Chicago. Dr. Mitchell went on to attend Columbia University’s Post-Doctoral Residency Program in Endodontics at Columbia –Presbyterian Medical Center. Dr. Mitchell has been a scientific presenter at the prestigious Chicago Midwinter Dental Meeting. Dr. Mitchell believes in giving back to the community through teaching. She taught for 15 years as adjunct faculty for the post-doctoral endodontic residents and was an oral board examiner to the endodontic residents at Nova South Eastern University School of Dental Medicine in Fort Lauderdale. Dr. Mitchell practiced dentistry in New York and Chicago prior to moving to Florida. She has been practicing endodontics for over twenty years. When Dr. Mitchell isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her two daughters.
